Overview
Current V2 backup/restore verification exists and operators can record latest or point-in-time restore requests for review.
Free target is a 1-day backup retention window.
Builder Beta target is a 7-day backup retention window.
Scale restore windows are request-only and coming later.
Restore request records do not start a destructive restore; an operator must run the restore worker and update the job status.
Developer notes
- Treat self-service destructive PITR as unavailable during controlled beta.
- Keep restore verification separate from destructive restore.
- Store restore job status in the control plane.
- Test branch, proposal, evidence, and hybrid index restore.
