The control plane records usage events and rollups.
Engine-level metering should continue to expand for rows read, rows written, vector operations, capability invocations, result bytes, and storage.
The usage metric capability_invocations_month is accepted as clear public wording. The older agent_runs_month key remains a compatibility alias for the same counter.
Free access requires invite approval during controlled beta.
Broader free access should wait until abuse controls have enough operational history.
Developer notes
- Reject work before a tenant exceeds hard caps.
- Track cost-bearing capability and vector operations.
- Show warnings before spend caps are reached.
- Make cancellation release resources and stop new work.
